Provincial, territorial, and federal governments are working together with Indigenous peoples and the public to collaboratively shape Canada’s approach to climate change. Environment and Climate Change Canada recently invited the public to share ideas and solutions for climate change and green growth through their Let's Talk Climate Action campaign.
Cities need more trees. Not just because they look nice, but because they help cut down energy use by reducing the need for air conditioning. They also store carbon dioxide, trap airborne pollutants, intercept rainfall, and raise property prices.

Environment and Climate Change Canada just published a new field guide for species at risk in British Columbia. This pocket guide contains information on 85 of the 200 federally listed species that are either endangered, at risk, or of special concern—including unique birds, plants, and other wildlife.
