The Good Society--Managing Natural Resources

Humanity is now using nature’s services 52 percent faster than what Earth can renew, according to the Global Footprint Network’s 2012 data. A Good Society preserves and regenerates the natural assets they have within their borders and avoids placing themselves in an ecological deficit as demonstrated by the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment Report. The new figures released on humanity's ecological footprint and biocapacity demonstrate that in a good society, countries everywhere manage natural capital resources as part of their mission to sustain themselves.
