PowerShift 2012: October 26-29th

On the weekend of October 26-29th over 1,500 youth from all walks of life, coming from communities all across Canada will come together in Ottawa for a historic gathering to build the movement for a just and sustainable future. Including leading voices from the global movement to stop climate change, this gathering will empower our generation to chart a new pathway forward towards the world that we want.

The event will feature keynote speakers, Bill McKibben, Melina Laboucan Massimo, Clayton Thomas Mueller, Brigitte DePape and, Quebec student activist, Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois. The weekend will include scintillating workshops and will will culminate with a march and lobby day on Parliament.

Registration rate is $45, but you get 15% off if you come with a group of ten or more. This is a great chance to build skills in your community and connect. This movement is stronger when we work together, so please take a moment to forward this to your networks.
