The Sustainability Solutions Group, partners of CRC Research, recently conducted a community planning engagement process with the District of Summerland that includes the voices of the Summerland youth. Working with youth from Summerland Middle School, Girl Guides, SADI (Summerland Asset Development Initiative) Youth Group and Giant’s Head Elementary, ten animations were produced that capture the younger generation's perspectives on future development in Summerland and related issues in this community. These videos have been included in the Future Summerland project website, a project that aims to answer the question: "What kind of urban growth do Summerland residents want?"
