Stream restoration projects in cities offer many benefits

Quote

As more and more people migrate to urban areas we are becoming increasingly distant from the ecosystems that support us. But experiencing nature in cities is incredibly important. Ecological restoration projects in urban areas, like stream daylighting, provide many benefits for humans. But these types of projects are labour intensive, require many stakeholders, and can be pretty expensive. So, is it worth the huge cost for what may be a relatively small environmental impact?
