Second Biodiversity Conversation Now Published
Last week, Changing the Conversation and Nature Canada hosted the second e-Dialogue from our Biodiversity Conversation series. Featuring expert panelists from Women for Nature, the group explored biodiversity conservation from a local to a global scale, using the monarch butterfly and migratory paths as an example. With expertise in soil biodiversity, marine mammals, conservation, climate change, and environmentalism, they discussed why biodiversity does not respect political borders and how its conservation requires a broader systems approach. As global governance systems are needed to protect critical habitats and migratory paths, they shared a series of resources to encourage viewers to dive deeper into this complex issue.
