During our Biodiversity Conversation series, hosted on Changing the Conversation, we developed a rich resource library filled with informative content on biodiversity. Curated by Women for Nature panelists, it features countless articles, reports, videos, art projects, data visualizations, and more. While we released our biodiversity action agenda in February, we are continuing to update the library given the urgent nature of the topic. Learn about soil biodiversity, the state of North American birds, ocean health, and recommendations for biodiversity conservation action, among many other vital topics.
We recently uploaded this Guardian article featuring a recent academic study that maps out a global network of wildlife sanctuaries. These sites are “required to save the world’s oceans, protect wildlife and fight climate breakdown,” according to co-author Prof Callum Roberts from the University of York. The study details how we can protect over a third of the world’s oceans by 2030, which is crucial to safeguarding marine ecosystems.
