A new video has been released on HEAD Talks.
Following the publication of Prof. Ann Dale's article on rethinking growth and progress in the Times Colonist Newspaper, this video features an animation created from the outcomes of our March workshop, on exploring alternatives to our traditional system of constant economic growth, held at Royal Roads University. The workshop featured virtual and face-to-face dialogues, representing a diversity of perspectives, expertise and experiences drawing from economics, sustainable development, ecology and governance. Researchers, practitioners and civil society leaders located in Victoria, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal, and Haverford, PA, listened to expert keynote and panel presentations on the implications of constant economic growth, and then they convened for roundtable discussions.
