The Bigger Picture - A new video released on CRC HEAD Talks

Created through partnership between Community Research Connections and the University of Alberta, this animation explores the relationship between carbon footprints and income. Specifically, the video shares outcomes and ideas from research conducted by Kennedy, E.H., H. Krahn, and N.T. Krogman (2013), detailed in Egregious Emitters: Disproportionality in Household Carbon Footprints, which examines this relationship in the context of individuals and households of Alberta. However, insights from the research are applicable beyond Alberta, and the video concludes with a systems approach on how individuals and communities throughout North America (and potentially elsewhere) can reduce carbon footprints, based on the findings of the research.

This video was created as a complement to research done in the energy theme of the Solutions Agenda project.
