Is our Government up to this?

The latest IPCC report highlights the eight things the world must do to avoid the worsening of climate change:

1. Reduce methane
2. Stop deforestation
3. Restore other degraded land, and stop it being turned into agriculture
4. Change agriculture, and change the way we eat
5. Solar and wind power
6. Energy efficiency
7. Stop burning coal
8. Put climate at the heart of all decision-making

These are all doable things that can be accomplished with political will. Is our government up to them?
