The Moral Imperative: Recent release in the MC3 video series

The fourth video in the Meeting the Climate Change Challenge (MC3) series has been released.

This video features a blend of animation and an interview with Dr. Azim Shariff of the Culture and Morality Lab (CaML), University of Oregon, discussing the challenges humans have in addressing climate change as a moral imperative. Dr. Shariff provides insight on the psychological basis for why individuals have difficulty in both associating climate change with their actions and viewing climate change as a critical threat to themselves and their peer groups. He concludes his interview with suggestions on how communicators can connect the causes and consequences of climate change with people's actions and lifestyles, in efforts to inspire action toward addressing the global issue.

The video can be seen above or found on the CRC HEAD Talks channel, in the featured videos section.
