Summaries for the case studies of the Meeting Climate Change Challenge (MC3) project are now available. MC3 aims to identify emerging best practices and innovations in community climate change responses, and this is done in part by examining climate change plans of eleven communities within BC. Communities are selected using criteria that ensures best practices from a diverse set of communities are captured within the research. As a result, research outcomes will be able to inform climate change policies for communities of a variety of economies, sizes, and urbanity.
The communities MC3 focuses on are the City of Victoria, Carbon Neutral Kootenays, the City of Vancouver, Surrey, Dawson Creek, Eagle Island, Revelstoke, North Vancouver, Campbell River, Prince George and T'Sou-ke, and case summaries can be found in the Case Study section of the MC3 website
