A new video in the Meeting the Climate Change Challenge (MC3) series has just been released!
This video features a blend of animation and an interview with Victoria Smith, Manager of BC Hydro's Aboriginal & Sustainable Communities sector. In the interview, Smith discusses the importance of practicing effective 'community engagement' when guiding a community toward sustainability. As partner of the MC3 project, Smith relates her discussion to community climate change strategies and why community engagement is essential in addressing climate change. She also describes a framework for community engagement, and provides advice on how to effectively engage communities in sustainability initiatives.
