I've played sports on over 70 teams, worked in community development, and learned first hand of group dynamics through youth work, work with first nations, economic diversification, domestic violence prevention, alternative justice, issues of homelessness and environmentalism. After a lifetime of grappling to identify the variables of successful leadership and change in community, I entered the MaLT program in the hopes of learning a language, or discovering models that would adequately reflect my experiences in community development, volunteerism, social movements and sports. |
