Case Studies in Sustainable InfrastructureWhile there are no perfect examples of sustainable communities in Canada, there are components of it to be found in projects across the country. These are a series of case studies in Energy, Transportation, Waste Management, Land-Use Planning, and Governance, which you can be browse starting at the bottom of this page (either on-screen or by selecting "printer-friendly version) or by searching and browsing from the left-hand menu. The case studies were selected on the basis of three key attributes:
as well as for scalability, adaptability, and resilience. Additionally, the overall set was selected for a diversity of geographical region, economy, and project and community sizes. The case studies follow a common template for ease of use and comparison. |
